Build Rapport

🤜🏼🤛🏼

People won't care how much you know, until they know how much you care.

Building trust and credibility is perhaps the most important aspect of coaching. If others do not feel connected to us, or even worse, doubt our intentions, we're in for a difficult conversation.

IN THIS WEBINAR: Learn some tools to effectively communicate our intentions and help others feel comfortable when speaking with us.

Investigate Values

🕵🏼‍♂️

People are usually more convinced by ideas they discovered themselves, than by those found out by others.

The motivation necessary for behaviour change must come from within. Nothing is more powerful than helping someone else arrive at a conclusion and a course of action on their own.

IN THIS WEBINAR: Learn how to help others rationalize and conclude for themselves that they should be vegan.

Present Information

👩🏼‍🏫

People already have vegan values; they just need help aligning their actions with their values.

Coaching conversations focus first on helping others explore their personal values. Once conscious of these, the process of aligning their actions with their values becomes much easier.

IN THIS WEBINAR: Learn how to present veganism effectively so that information is accepted and absorbed.

Handle Objections

🚫

If someone doesn't provide objections to veganism, they likely aren't thinking about it seriously.

Objections are a gift. They offer the opportunity to help others overcome the obstacles impeding them from aligning their actions with their values.

IN THIS WEBINAR: Learn how to avoid frustrating debates, and instead, coach people to overcome their own objections to veganism and animal rights.

Check out the full AVO Webinar Series which includes content like: tips on speaking with family, advice for effective online activism, interviews with expert communicators like Dr. Melanie Joy and inspirational activists like James Aspey, and more.
